FAQ’S from Administrators:

Q:  May we see a copy of your standard contact before we proceed?
A:  Yes. Contact us and we will be glad to send you a copy of our standard contract. Let us know whether you are considering temporary, part-time or permanent staff placement.

Q:  What type of background check do you conduct with prospective candidates?
A:  Our background check involves letters of reference and if possible we talk with the person writing the letter so we can ask additional questions.  We check with the candidate’s licensing board to confirm his or her current status and to determine if there are any problems with the candidate’s professional behavior. 

Q:  If we ask ProWorkforce to find us a professional and you present a qualified person, but for some reason we do not find the person acceptable, what financial obligation have we incurred? 
A:   None. We simply keep searching until we find someone you find acceptable. Actually this problem seldom arises, because we make a sincere effort to understand your requirements before we begin the recruiting process. 

 

FAQ’S from Professional Contractors:

Q:  How is the “time worked” or “Services rendered” calculated?
A:  You will be paid at the hourly rate agreed upon in your contract times the number of hours worked on site. You are not paid portal to portal, though in most cases we are able to pay mileage. As you work you maintain your hours on a service invoice, which is validated by a designated person at the school or agency and faxed to us every two weeks. You are then paid within ten working days from the date the service invoice is received in our office.

Q:  What if I want out of the contract? 
A:  All of our contracts have a 30-day escape clause for the agency, for the professional contactor, and for ProWorkforce.  If you want to end the contract, send us a written notice to that effect and your obligation will end 30-days after the notice is received. Following this procedure will allow you to remain in good standing with ProWorkforce and we will consider hiring you again. 

Q:  What fees do I incur if I work through your agency?
A:  None. Even if we place you in a full-time staff position you incur no fees as they are paid by the receiving school or agency.
